Confirmation Class

Statements of faith are made by sponsors and parents at the time of infant baptism. Later in life persons who were baptized look at the statements of faith, spoken on their behalf from, from the eyes of an adult or young adult. The rites of Confirmation provide these persons the opportunity to confirm the faith statements made at their baptism in their own words and voice. Classes are offered at Grace Church to study the meaning of these faith statements and their biblical foundations.  The length of time of preparation for Confirmation Day is individualized.  Seventh and eighth graders can look forward to a two-year course of study that will also involve parent participation. Adults who are eighteen and older work with other adult students or with the pastor to design and complete a curriculum of biblically founded study.
